Paypal to Mpesa transactions are completed in one minute or less. New users will be required to check their email and complete the transaction by clicking on an authorization link in the email.

You can withdraw a maximum of 500 USD in a day. However there are limits on the amount you can withdraw based on your Paypal transaction history. Read more about transaction limits here

For Paypal to Mpesa we charge 6.5% + 2USD. For Mpesa to Paypal we place a small mark-up on the exchange rates. You will also get a calculator on the same on the respective service pages.

Limits ensure your funds are not held in PayPal. We place limits depending on your previous PayPal transaction history and double the amount after every 4 days. If you try to withdraw higher amounts than your account average there is a possibility your funds will be frozen while your account is reviewed. Read more on this here
